Vibration claims and vibration injury

Vibration white finger claims can be made for injuries or damage caused by using hand-held vibrating machinery such as power tools.
The condition is a recognised industrial disease and is the vascular component of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome. Thousands of people are affected and many could be entitled to make a claim against their employer.
Vibration white finger is often seen in people who regularly use equipment such as pneumatic drills and chainsaws as these power tools cause small, repetitive injuries to the nerves and blood vessels in the fingers.
Symptoms include white fingers, loss of dexterity and reduced grip strength and the condition can be painful and debilitating, particularly in extreme temperatures, and the condition can arise months or even years after using vibrating machinery. Tractor accident claims.
